On Tuesday, May 18, 2010 McHenry Lodge hosted a Joint Stated Meeting with our Brothers from St. Marks Lodge #63 in Woodstock, IL. The Lodge was opened on the 1st Degree by Worshipful Master Chris Scheiblhofer of McHenry Lodge with officers from St. Marks Lodge. After introductions of the visiting Brethren were made the Entered Apprentices from both Lodges were excused for study. The Lodge was then opened on the 2nd Degree and then the 3rd. Business for both Lodges was conducted and then the Lodge underwent the ritual to go from labor to refreshment. After a short break the Lodge was brought from refreshment to labor--this time with Worshipful Master Larry Lagerhausen from St. Marks in the East and officers from McHenry Lodge filling the officer's stations. The Lodge was closed 'in form' (3,2,1). Everyone agreed that it was great fun and a fine display of Masonic ritual. This may become an annual event.
