On Tuesday, May 17, 2011 McHenry Lodge hosted a Joint Stated Meeting with our Brothers from St. Marks Lodge #63 in Woodstock, IL. A well-attended fellowship dinner was served prior to the start of the Stated Meetings. The Lodge was opened on the 1st Degree by Worshipful Master pro-tem Roland Wood of McHenry Lodge with officers from McHenry Lodge. After introductions business for both Lodges was conducted. Worshipful Master Rick Lagerhausen from St. Marks assumed the East and officers from St. Marks Lodge filled the officer's stations. The Lodge was closed 'in form'. Everyone agreed that it was great fun and a fine display of Masonic ritual. Plans are in the works for a similar event next year.
