Behold, O Master in the East,

    What glories greet thee there;

What floods of radiance earthward stream;

    The sun is rising fair.

Behold, O Master glorious arts

    Where cradled in the East;

Behold what sciences came forth

    Man's waking mind to feast.

O Master in thy symboled East,

    Seek WISDOM from above;

And spread the light which heaven shall send

    Within thy lodge in love.
